Seller abuse

Short story I ordered some beads , pack arrived with the wrong beads . Told seller and asked for return address. Sent a picture of the beads that arrived . Heard nothing but my husband has dementia and thought it was message they had sent some beads . I contacted them thanking them . They still didn't reply . I sent 5 requests and didn't receive any reply.  So contacted ebay , then nasty emails began to come . Telling me I was dishonest , Scamming them , could report me to police and ebay and more . During all these emails I still didn't get an address to return the wrong beads . Then I spotted the picture was different to the description. So even if I could send them back , without an address , they would have sent me the wrong beads again . No-one was out of pocket.  I had some beads he had the been paid , but I still had the wrong beads .

I didn't want the money back , just a return address to send them to and
for them to send the beads I ordered . Thanks for your help . 👍 Christine

That's clearly not going to happen, you need to use the money back guarantee to return them for a refund and then buy from someone else.

If the item you received was not as described you are entitled to use eBay's money back guarantee. This includes the option to request a replacement rather than a refund, but there can be a lot of problems if the replacement too isn't what you wanted. In any case, the seller can insist on providing a refund instead.

Anyone here would strongly advise you to go for a refund, as is usual. You can then buy the beads elsewhere. eBay will provide you with the return address - in fact the seller will have to send you a prepaid label - and you will receive a full refund on return. eBay will action the whole procedure and you won't need to have any contact with the seller.
