I ordered an item. The fedex tracking shows delivered to a postcode which is not mine, and not the one on my order. Ebay have let the seller keep my money even though the tracking clearly shows it was delivered somewhere else! I asked the seller for a POD which can be downloaded from the website if you have his account number, but he has not provided one either - I guess doesn't want to incriminate himself. So much for buyer protection! I have opened an appeal. We'll see what happens.

Doubt appeal will even be looked at by a human, contact your payment provider and see if they can start a chargeback to get a refund.

Appeals are when a human gets involved.

I have just checked a few other items I ordered, all arrived but the tracking doesn't show where it was actually delivered. It seems to me this is a vulnerability. If ebay are going to say the delivery has been made therefore no refund, but there is no note of where the order was delivered, the system is open to abuse. Fortunately in my case the postcode was on the tracking, but that is not usually the case.
