Subject: Shipping size and weight options not matching my item
Hello,
I am trying to list an item for sale which measures approximately 65 × 55 cm and weighs 1.2 kg.
The problem is that eBay’s current shipping size options do not allow me to select a parcel size that matches my item’s real dimensions without exceeding their listed limits.
For example, the “Up to 2 kg” option is fine for the weight, but the maximum size listed (61 × 46 × 46 cm) is smaller than my item, so it does not fit.
I have no other delivery method available, and I do not want to be charged extra for exceeding the allowed dimensions when the weight is still within the limit.
Could you please advise why sellers cannot select a larger parcel size for light but oversized items, and what option I should choose to avoid unexpected extra fees?
