Refund out of my own funds

I had to refund someone's order because I'm travelling abroad and cannot post. eBay took the funds out of my balance, the money earned from my previous order.

Do I get those back? Cause the buyer I cancelled, I didn't get their funds either so now I have £0.00 even if the money from the previous order is mine. This cancelled buyer’s money didn’t even reach my account?

The original payment was still on hold so ebay refund from your balance or funding source and then you keep the payment when it's released.
