Buyer protection and Money Back gaurantee. No online agents, no phone calls

I have been trying for an hour to get an update on my Money Back Guarantee case.

This is going to take so long that the seller will get the item returned as it is stuck in a postage depot, plus my money.

This is beyond annoying.

What happened to live chat?

Kind regards

Communication with eBay Customer Services is usually through a Live Chat during these hours.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

I am not sure what exactly you are expecting ebay to do when item is stuck in the post. It is really up to buyer to open a not received case as soon as past the expected delivery date.  Nothing can be done till then.

If you've returned the item via an eBay return and used a label that either eBay or your seller gave you, or added your own tracking number to the returns case, as long as it shows that the item was returned you'll still get a refund.

You may just want to let eBay know that the tracking status shows that although the item was returned, it's currently stuck at a mail depot.

I had opened a case days before. Tried to speak to an online agent, no option was available through the virtual assistant thing. The only option to communicate with a human on eBay was for them to call me. Which I requested about a dozen times. All I got was emails saying they had tried to phone me but I was unavailable.

What did I want eBay to do? Contact me. It’s not rocket science.
