I sold an item 3 weeks ago, sent by Evri (not simple delivery as the size too large for this) and it still hasn't been delivered. Just six days after sending the buyer opened a 'not received case' and escalated this as soon as she was able (despite me passing on information to her that Evri were investigating and asked me to wait 48 hours and me asking the same). The case closed in my favour because Evri had "attempted delivery" . However the item has still not been delivered - at the second attempt Evri said there were issues finding the location (I have now provided what3words so hoping this will make a third attempt successful). However another week has past since the last "delivery attempt". I feel the delivery issue is partly the buyers fault as she has said that Evri can never find her address. Frankly I think she should have added the what3words and instructions in the first place (she already has added a "leave in porch" instruction for Evri so clearly capable of accessing the Evri account. Should I open a case with Evri or (as I have now been paid and am unlikely to make a successful claim) should this be for the buyer to do? I have already spent several hours chasing this with Evri and am annoyed the buyer opened and escalated a case against me so quickly rather than giving a few days for me to try to sort; from Day 1 she was messaging me about non-arrival and had her not received case been successful she might have ended up with both the money and the item. Still hoping the item will be delivered as it's seems severely delayed rather than lost.

eBay found in your favour so as far as they are concerned it's not your fault and you don't have to do anything. You could make enquiries but as you say, it may still get there.
