I sold an item which I listed as being posted using a carrier. However the buyer was fairly local so I delivered it personally by hand. How do I show it as delivered?

There is nothing to mark as delivered for an item originally listed to be posted.
You have done everything correctly, nothing more you need to do, as Dispatched is also eBay's wording for a Collected / Personally Delivered item.
It's all good!

I think all you can do is mark as dispatched. You have no tracking or code to prove delivered.

Thanks for your suggested solution. The problem lies equally between myself and eBay. The item I was selling was relatively small and light so I included postage as part of the selling price. However, the purchaser was close enough for me to deliver it personally avoiding using a carrier. Therefore I marked it as dispatched. Unfortunately, eBay list numerous carriers but don't seem to cater for 'delivery by hand'.
Ultimately I have a listing that shows dispatched, positive feedback (from both parties) but not delivered. Hopefully it will timeout in due course.

However attractive it might seem, going 'off piste' and hand delivering an item listed for postage, or allowing collection of it, is bound to cause issues.
Ebay's systems are not set up for this.
