I had an item sold on the 17th July. On the 20th it updated and told me that it had been dispatched when the order is still in my living room...so I left it until now thinking I must of messed up somehow but it's still saying dispatched and irs also provided me with a traxking. All that says is that itss running behind...can anyone advise? Can I just cancel the order?

You listed the item with Simple Delivery.

As soon as you access the label - even if you are only looking at the buyer's name and address - Ebay automatically marks the item as sent and adds the tracking.

Why do you want to cancel the order?  More importantly, why have you not sent it?

If you cancel now, you will have a disappointed buyer who will want their money back and will probably leave you negative feedback.

By being marked as dispatched, you will not have any trouble about dispatch time, but you could end up with a damaging defect for late delivery.
