photo sizes pixels is it a glitch or are ebay at it again

today i cancelled 10 listings with the intention of relisting
when i atempted to relist all of them came up with photo errors needed to be 500 pixels
all were 680 x 480 all had been relisted numerous times before with no errors
ended up having to save each image average 10 per listing so 100 and resize one at a time using paint
before relistin very time consuming have several hundred relisting over the next three days
will be impossible for me to resize all
-
thoughts please

2004

Product Image Resolution and Size

When it comes to minimum dimensions requirements for all product photos, each image should be at least 500 pixels on the longest side. It is recommended that images be 1600 pixels or larger for better zoom functionality and detail. You can upload up to 9000 pixels in dimensions while the maximum size is 7MB for regular images and 12MB for web photos.-
-----------
2005 it now appears they have changed this without notification

Here's a breakdown of eBay image size recommendations:

  • Minimum Image Size: 500 x 500 pixels
  • Maximum Image Size: 9000 x 9000 pixels
  • Maximum File Size: 12MB
  • Recommended Size: 1600 x 1600 pixels
    -----------
