Advice re unresponsive seller

I need some advice please from the community, over a year ago I bought a battery for our Dyson V6 cleaner that carries a 10 year warranty according to the sellers advert (still there). The battery is starting to fail, so I messaged the seller(Yosemite-springs or Rheinstore), through eBay messaging, no reply. I left it for a couple of weeks and messaged again, no reply. I contacted eBay help chat, who suggested that I message again, this time through email to the address the eBay agent supplied and they would instruct their team to also contact the seller, no reply from seller or eBay. After a couple of weeks went back to eBay chat and the agent suggested I message again (frustrated by this time and the agent was getting very unfriendly and would not budge). I agreed to message again and the agent said they will also contact the seller. After a further 2 weeks no reply from seller or eBay. Today, some 8 weeks after the initial message to seller, I’ve raised a complaint to eBay, after a day, eBay refused the complaint, I appealed giving full details and within an hour, the appeal was turned down. Sorry for the long explanation but does anyone have any advice on any next steps or is this the end of the road? I’m really annoyed that the seller can advertise a 10 year warranty and then total ignore any claims or contact and just get away with it, whilst still continuing to deceive buyers.

Advice re unresponsive seller

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  Looks like you're too late to claim from your payment provider too.

Some things you can do,  if purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.  You can report them to Trading Standards,  too.
