Ebay have sent me a request to refund because buyer doesn’t like item. That’s fine my listing says no returns but ebay recommends I do.Im not going to.Buyer contacted me previously asking me to refund because customs won’t let item through because of a picture of a gun on it.The picture is a bouquet of flowers shaped as a gun.I shipped through global shipping Programme since looked up tracking with Pitney Bowes and the package is on hold .I tried to contact PB and there is a link to ebay for this problem which only took me to eBay’s help pages .I went through the usual chat box entered the item and chat box gave me a link to receive a call from agent. The link is unavailable.Frustrated.

Thank you Peasebottom for rapid response also for the contact info.Im new to tec. and only use my IPhone which I have very basic capabilities.Do I have to type in the whole lot of that website address if so I’ll have to write it down .Or I might try copy and paste I was quite pleased with myself it worked the othe other day.As for refunding I can’t afford to ATM and I don’t trust the buyer to return it in same condition. Why do they say to me it is in china I think( it’s destination is VietnNam) and customs won’t let it through which it looks like on tracking but tell ebay they dont like it? Also the name at the top of their messages changes is that normal? Am I unnecessarily suspicious? And all the information other questions I have fired at you?

If they tell ebay they don't like it that is not a good reason and you are entitled to refuse if you don't accept change of mind returns.

ebay recommends I do.
That will be because fro the number of brand new items you're selling you are obviously a business seller, possibly without realising this. Private sellers are limited to selling their own, unwanted possessions. Buying to resell on eBay is a business activity.
Business sellers are required by law and by ebay to accept returns, for any reason. I think you need to look at upgrading to a business seller account. On the plus side, your buyers won't have to pay the hated buyer protection fee, and you can use whatever delivery methods you wish.

Thanks for rapid response and interesting information I didn’t think of me being a business as a possible reason for not being able to access a call from an agent.I normally can does that eliminate this as a reason or is it still possible. If so how do I find out if I am labelled a business seller. Also a link someone from this forum kindly gave me did get me through.Would appreciate your thoughts.

First of all thank you for your way of getting a call from agent.I just tapped your link and it got me straight there and call made and some progress.Really appreciate your help. Thanks for the advice not to embark on a refund I agree my listing doesn’t accept refunds. The buyers name changes at the top of my page with different messages once in front of my eyes I think when I returned a message. Is that normal? Sometimes it’s one name when I look back which is the name ebay use in the refund status and other times when I go to his messages a different name.I haven’t worked out a pattern yet but should that be possible? The agent had no answer. Also I’m not getting any info from ebay about this problem at customs but did follow the link to the shipping co. That shows it is held at customs but no other info accept a link back to ebay help page.Agent has requested an update for me.But it took a lot of effort just to get to that.I would like to know what customs and shipping company think they are going to do with the item? There was a lot to get through there thanks for time and any of your knowledge you have already shared and any more you have to offer would be gratefully received.

If you click on your feedback score it brings up your Feedback profile page , if you were a Business seller it would state ' Registered as a business seller ' , under where it states Member since........ Nothing is written there, so currently you are on a Private account.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
