Seller. Item delivered but not received.

Infrequent seller here. 

 

Item was delivered with proof of delivery photo at front door. Buyer says item not received, possibly stolen from 'safe place'.

 

They went on live chat and was shown delivery photo, told by Yodel that seller needs to take it up with them. Should I issue refund now and deal with Yodel? Trusting buyer isn't scamming...

You can try that.

However, if Yodel delivered the item to the buyer's safe place then they are unlikely to be helpful unless you can somehow prove that they were negligent.

Generally, in my experience, carriers do not accept responsibility for doorstep thefts.

The only negligent aspect is it stated delivered to outbuilding and the
buyer said the photo was of the parcel on the porch/street.
