Buyer wants return or refund

The buyer wants a return due to some cellotape glue residue on the clear plastic cover and he can clean this off easily  this crazy . And looking at his feedback he/ she done this before and I question the motives 

This doesn’t feel right and as selllwr I am concerned

It is best to accept the return.   If the buyer ends up escalating it to eBay they will almost enforce it (the system is more or less automatic) and that could harm your account.    eBay have also been known to refund without return so get the item back first.    And put the buyer's ID on your blocked bidder list:
