Postage Option

Advice please.

I have just noticed Ebay seem to be offering buyer’s a postage option that I have not intentionally chosen.

I offer free postage and my chosen method of posting is to use Royal Mail, Tracked 48.

This is their second class service as opposed to first class.

On the front page of my listings it does show Free Deliver in 2-3 days.  However, when I click on the Postage ‘See Details’ button, what is showing is Standard Tracked Delivery (which is correct and what I want) but underneath it is also showing £4.00 in 2-3 days Express Tracked Delivery.  It seems to have appeared on all my listings.

I do not want to use Express Tracked Delivery and cannot find anywhere to delete it.

Have I completed something incorrectly on my latest listing which has changed all my listings?

I have looked at some new listings for other sellers and some do show Express Tracked Delivery (but seller may have chosen this) but others do not show Express Tracked.

I have been in touch with Ebay and I was told they could see I have not chosen Express Tracked Delivery and will raise it as a complaint but they could not tell me how to remove it.  Whether I will hear back from them, I am not hopeful.

Can anyone tell me if this is another change Ebay have made?

Is there a way I can remove it?

Sorry for long message but I just want to be clear in my explanation of the issue..

Many thanks.

Go to "Ebay help" top right of page and search simple delivery,

All explained there. All private sellers have to use it.

Postage Option

Hello,  Thank you for reading my message.  I am already using the new SD system and, as you suggested, had another look at the 'Ebay Help' section for SD but, unless I have missed it, cannot see any mention that Express Tracked Delivery will become an addition to my chosen method of posting.

With SD you give buyers option of postage service.

You may offer free RM 48, but they can pay for a quicker service.

I can't see it making any difference to you.
