Due to the current conflict in Israel, most major UK shipping carriers are experiencing disruptions in service into the country and Israel Post has declared a state of emergency. eBay is temporarily pausing sales from the United Kingdom to buyers with shipping addresses in Israel and Iraq as we cannot ensure successful delivery to these locations at this time.
Shipping services on eBay will also be temporarily suspended:
- The Global Shipping Programme has suspended service to Israel effective June 17th
- Royal Mail has suspended service to Israel effective June 19th
If you have received an order for an item and have not yet shipped it, we recommend refunding the buyer and canceling the transaction (select “Buyer address issue” as the reason for cancellation).
If you have recently shipped an order to Israel or Iraq, you may be concerned about shipping delays. However, eBay will automatically protect your seller performance, including:
- “Item not received” (INR) cases due to late delivery as long as you uploaded tracking before the case was opened, and have a physical scan from the carrier
- Service metrics for open item not received cases
- Removal of negative and natural feedback related to INR cased
- Out of stock cancellations
If you have recently shipped an item using The Global Shipping Program (GSP), you are automatically protected once we have safely accepted your item at the UK Shipping Centre.
We are closely monitoring regional developments and will provide our community updates as the situation evolves.
Thank you for selling on eBay.
