Questions about selling perfumes...

I have a number of old discontinued perfumes that I would like to offer for sale, but I know that I cannot list them in the Health & Beauty category as that is only for new items.

Is it allowed to offer them in the Collectibles category (Vanity & Grooming, I think) if the listing makes it very clear that they are being sold as collectors' items only?

I have read the Cosmetics & Perfume policy thoroughly and can't find any reference to collectables.

I've also read Royal Mail's instructions for packaging liquids, and for posting perfumes - where they say that perfumes must be in their original retail packaging. What counts as "original retail packaging"? Original bottle, obviously, but do they mean original box as well?

Any thoughts/advice from our mentors very much appreciated.

EBay does not allow the sale [anyhow] of used [2nd hand] perfume.   I would interpret "new" as totally undisturbed in original packing and not test sprayed.  Not necessarily a current perfume.

Royal Mail allows only the posting of new perfume complete with all original packing [box, sleeve etc]

Of course there are some on eBay who either do not know or do not care and list used perfume.  It gets taken down when noticed!  @zamiocalculus
