Damaged in transit to the buyer

I can't believe the Evry delivery driver has damaged a parcel that's for a buyer how do I go about getting some sort of compensation also I have the proof as Evry shown it

Assuming Simple Delivery was used ask the buyer to open a "not received" case and ebay will issue the refund themselves.    You keep the payment.

The "been shipped back to you"  may muddy the waters a bit.   If it does contact ebay direct.
