We're writing to let you know about a minor upcoming change to private seller’s fixed-price listings on eBay on 11 November.
What's Happening?
To simplify how we calculate the Buyer Protection fee, we're making an adjustment to the fixed fee portion.
- The fixed fee is changing from up to £0.10 to a flat rate of £0.10.
This one-time adjustment will result in a price increase between £0.01 and £0.03 on your existing fixed price listings. These are the listings that automatically renew every 30 days until the item sells or you end the listing.
Why Are We Making This Change?
This change will give you more transparency and simplicity when you calculate your listing prices.
By moving to a flat £0.10 fixed fee, it will be easier for you to calculate the exact Buyer Protection fee for every listing.
What Can You Do?
This change will be applied automatically to your existing fixed price listings on 11 November. You can review and adjust the prices of any of your active listings at any time.
We understand that even a small change can require your time and attention, and we are here to answer any questions with 24/7 customer support. This update is designed to help make pricing your items clearer and more straightforward in the long run.
Thanks for selling on eBay.
