Return, returned to me but refund issued already

Hi all, 

I am item I won arrived missing parts. I requested to return it for refund with a seller that did not reply to any messages. After sending back the parcel using the pre-printed label, 3 weeks later .. it was back on my doorstep. Royal mail tried the three times to deliver to theirs and then sent back to me. eBay has issued a refund as the tracking is marked as delivered (back to me!). I don't want anything to do with this anymore and the seller is once again not responding after they asked if I have received the parcel upon the refund being issued (funny that got them to talk). 

Can I put it in recycling and move on in life or is there a grace period where I have to keep trying (sent several messages asking what they want to do, I am absolutely not paying to send it back)? 

Wanted to call eBay for their answers but obviously they don't have a phone line.. so thanks in advance for any help

Just to cover yourself, I would send one final message telling the seller that if they don't supply a means of return by (maybe Monday 7th?) you will feel free to dispose of the item.

There is nothing else you can do really.

Thank you, I think that's fair. I was tempted to write a question to other things they are selling and if they reply to that then clearly there is no helping them
