Contacting Customer Services

Can I ask is there such a thing as customer services anymore, I am trying to make a complaint and it just seems to send me round and round in circles and there is no way to talk to anyone when the help information is not helpful and does not answer your questions.

I suppose that in future I will have to stop buying from ebay unless I have no other option as they are now so unhelpful. I will reconsider though if anyone can help me with a way to get in touch with ebay.

Contacting Customer Services

Yes, you can get in touch with Customer Services, their lines opened at 8 a.m. this morning

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

 https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open between 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.

I recommend contacting CS very first thing in the morning, when the lines first open,  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Or,  you can come back here explain the issue you are having,  there are many very experienced members here,  happy to help you.

The item is the patch panel, and the seller and item are coming from China,so it will take longer to arrive,so sometime in March, this month. You can view the estimated delivery date in your my ebay under orders, and if the time passes and you don't receive the item you can raise a not received case with ebay within 30 days of the last estimated delivery date.

Contacting Customer Services

Hi

The problem is that it was not as described but when I tried to do a return it asked me to send back to China, so I closed the return as I must of selected the incorrect Reason. Then it would not let me do this again. I have tried to go through Paypla but the sam they do not read the issue and sent the wrong information to ebay.

As this stands I am out of pocket by £14.53 and the item which I have and am willing to return at the sellers expense is useless as this does not fit the modules that it is supposed to.

Kind regards

The unfortunate thing here is that you closed the return.  Once closed another cannot be opened for that item with eBay.

If you opened a case with PayPal, they do not send information to eBay, but they do take longer to deal with a case.  Escalate the PayPal case after 2 days.

Never be fobbed off by a Chinese seller saying the item has to be returned to China.  Check the item's location on the listing.  Most Chinese sellers will use a UK forwarding Company to facilitate a faster dispatch,  so the item is returned to that UK location, and at the seller's expense if returning for the reason item not as described.

You only get one chance with an ebay case, so just a waste of time contacting ebay. They will not reopen and it was your choice to close case.

You could try your payment provider, but it sounds as though you used paypal and have already got no where with them.
