Purchased wrong postage label and had to buy a new one,

If you paid for the label you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
If the buyer paid for it it will be refunded automatically in 30 days.

Before you cancel it add the new tracking number via the More Actions dropdown menu (on a desktop browser).

Probably.

Was it Packlink or Simple Delivery?

Think it was simple Royal Mail. They scanned the QR code at the post office but the parcel was overweight so they could not accept it.
