Pre order not fulfilled

I ordered a book back in August. Wasn't due for release until January. It seems the shop has now closed. 

Why would ebay allow this to happen when its service says its still due to be sent to me. 

I now have no way of using the 30 day policy . is there any other way of me trying to get my money back?

Pre orders have to sent within 40 days.

So ebay won't help.

Try your payment provider, only chance. although they may not cover an item this long ago.
