Simple Posting wrongly entering weight of Parcel and overcharging

Problem with new Simple postage feature needs sorting urgently. When buyer orders multiple items each at default 1KG weight then postage weight multiplied by number items for example 6 items becomes 6 KG and charges accordingly though actual weight still less than 1KG. Anyone got idea how to change this> At the moment resorting to using Evri import and editing labels there bit of a phaf

If you were registered correctly as a business, then you would not have to use not so simple postage.
