I sold large item but said to pay cash on collection . This is first time I have sold an expensive item £200 and realise I should have accepted payment via eBay.
it is 5 days since fhe auction closed and the buyer still hasn’t contacted me to arrange collection. I asked for his phone number but he curtly replied “send your number please “ I did that but still have t heard. It is possible to change the payment method via eBay so he can pay via card or some other way, then if he hasn’t paid within a specified time I could relist the item.
any ad I’ve appreciated

Edit
Looking at the listing, as it is a car, it has to be cash on pickup.

As advised, Cash on collection --- Listing fees are not refundable for Vehicles, sold or unsold but you can recover FVFs by opening an Unpaid case for non payment after 4 days and give timewasters a well deserved account defect/strike.

You will need to cancel before relisting.

I'm afraid the listing fee and the selling fee as it was an auction, are both non refundable.
However, if you do wish to relist most will agree that listing in a Classified ad format, is the best way to sell a car on eBay.
You could, if you wish, add those fees to the new starting price of the car too. You will be charged another listing fee, but there's no seller fee to pay, when the car sells.

Well I spoke to an eBay agent who was extremely helpful. I was able to report what had happened and was immediately refunded the £25 selling fee then, as I decided not to relist it, I was also refunded the £14 listing fee.
I was very impressed and very grateful to the lovely agent.

That was very good of the agent as they're not obliged to make any of those refunds, but certainly can make courtesy refunds in certain cases.
Just ensure those refunds do appear back in your payment source ! 🤔
