So I purchased a chicken coop for £115 and the seller posted a loft bed

So, purchased a chicken coop for our new ducks, but the seller sent a loft bed instead. I paid £115 including delivery. They refunded me 50% saying they would refund the rest when the item had been collected. As it wasnt my fault they sent the wrong item, they organised a courier to collect. After 2 failed attempts they actually collected it. Now the loft bed was in a unmarked box, not stating what it was. I had to unpack it before I realised it wasnt the right item,  as the instructions said loft bed. I repacked, without the polystyrene as it wouldnt have gone back into the box. They have now closed the case saying it wasnt returned in the right condition. How could I? Its their fault in the first place, I should be given a full refund. Now they've closed the case, I cant seem to find a way to appeal or challenge their verdict. This isnt just... how do I raise an appeal?

Are they saying that it arrived back damaged?

If it was just loose in the box without the polystyrene packaging then it may well have been.

Just asking because your only recourse here is a chargeback via your debit or credit card if you funded the payment with one, but this may not work if the returned item wasn't packaged correctly and eBay have already found in the sellers favour.
