Unknown seller

I recently purchased some items and this did not come up in My EBay.  However the money £28.04 was taken from my bank for goods ref 02 13852 12417. How do I find out who this seller is. As I have not received the goods or had any emails from them re delivery date etc.

You should have received an email from ebay, not the seller.  That will give you the seller's details.

When did you pay?

Did you buy as a guest without logging into your Ebay account?

As advised, the email you got from Ebay confirming the purchase and payment is a good starting point.

If you bought as a guest, the email will go to the personal email address you used when you bought the item, and not your Ebay messages inbox.

Are you sure?  Have you have checked the email address you have registered with ebay?  Is it a valid email address?

You may also have bought while not logged in, I.e as a guest, in which case ebay will have emailed whatever email address you entered at the time.

I did not receive any email from EBay so thought the transaction had not been completed so went ahead and bought similar items from another seller,then two days later both bank transactions showed on my bank statement.

Did you make these purchases as ' Guest Purchases' ?  If so,  then nothing will show in your eBay account,  as it wasn't used to make the purchases.
