I purchased an Alienware 18 Area-51 Ultra 9 on eBay. The seller was supposed to send me the receipt within 14 working days after I received the item, but I haven’t heard from him since.

I’ve tried contacting him via the email listed on his profile, but there’s been no response. The phone number on his profile is also not working. As a result, I don’t have the necessary details to transfer ownership into my name.

Could someone please advise me on what steps I should take next?

If the seller won't send you a promised receipt, there is nothing you can do through Ebay.

Why do you need to transfer ownership into your name?

I am not quite sure what that means.
