Counterfeit Item

I bought Tacta as a present. When they opened it to play it was outside the 30 days. However it’s a fake and as we pay for buyer protection and as they have taken the post down EBay know it’s counterfeit so why won’t they give me my money back

eBay have a strict timeline with their money back guarantee policy,  and that is,  you have to claim within their stated,  30 day period.

If you have exceeded this timeline,  turn now,  to your payment provider for help with your refund.

Please remember that eBay specifically warns buyers in the user agreement that they do not guarantee the quality of items sold here, that they will be truthfully described, safe or even legal. You accepted these risks when you bought the item here. Would you have bought from a shop that stated this?

I'm afraid that eBay's time limit of 30 days for its own money back guarantee means what it says. From day 31 eBay will not get involved.

How did you pay for this Tacta? (What's a Tacta?) Deending upon how you paid you may be able to get help from your payment provider, e.g. credit ard, debit card, Klarna etc.

The buyer protection fee has nothing to do with the money back guarantee, which is what you should have used to get a refund.
