I have in the last few days listed 2 items that weigh close to 20 kgs unpacked and when packed are going to be around 22kg. Also as far as I can tell both items are oversize for RM. I have only 2 options to use and thats evri drop off / collect or RM drop off / collect. I do not want to drop off with RM as the que at our small post office with no near by parking is often over 30mins, I dont mind if they collect but as said I think the parcels are oversize as well as overweight. I do not mind dropping off at Evri as this is what I have always done but I thought the max weight was 15kgs with them and then the price shots up.
I would normally use Parcel Force for items like these. Is there any way I can change these options? I do not that in some categorys you get the chance to list the postage as overweight and then you can chose and this is fine as if I cant find a postage option on Ebay I go straight to Parcel 2 go and book as I used to do and just add the tracking number no problem.
Ebay should let you chose the parcel post option after you have entered wight and size and not be guessing.
I called Ebay support and was told they would pass on my comments to the tech team as was obviously a problem and I was told that I should just go ahead and list a 22kg parcel with a 20kg ebay label with Evri / RM option. I have done this but I did not get the service agents name should there be any charge against me.
Honestly, after probably 20 years of using Ebay I have had enough as it seems 100s of others have had as well and think i will just give it up.
Any ideas on how postage can be changed back to how it was so I can pick and choose ?
