That statement has been reported and ebay admits it needs rewording as it is confusing.

There is no need for sellers to receive, only buyers.

You can still post items via your chosen postal carrier.

No, eBay's new Simple Delivery removes some of that choice, although you can opt out of using Evri (or RM) here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/prf

That message was activated (it's going to be reworded as it sounds like there's already a problem) because you must have generated the SD label.     You should be able to change the tracking number at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.   That has to be done on a desktop.

After that you can cancel the original label here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller

Thank you for that , unfortunately it won’t let me opt out keeps saying I need at least 1 courier.

it wound let me put my own tracking on the system so keeps telling me that I haven’t posted the item

is there any way I can do this at the moment I’ve put it in notes and messaged the buyer

thank you

When you buy your own label in order to change the tracking number and mark as dispatched you have to generate the original prepaid label (sounds like that hadn't happened after all).     So do that then try changing the tracking.

If I do that I will need to pay again for that postage even thought the item has already been posted
