Simple Delivery Insurance

Like many I absolutely hate the horribly misnamed Simple Delivery system imposed on us by an increasingly bullying eBay.  Does the Simple Delivery label automatically insure the goods in transit for their full value?  I occasionally sell goods worth in excess of £1,000 and struggle to believe that the SD label costing £3-5 includes full insurance.

Items that sell for more than £750 are not eligible for Simple Delivery.

Otherwise, the item is covered by Ebay for loss or damage in transit for the sale price, up to £750.
