Item removed by eBay for being hazardous??

Hi I have just had an item removed ( ww2 German gas mask ) because it has been reported as hazardous yet there are literally dozens and dozens of these items listed on eBay by other sellers, I don't understand why mine has been targeted? I believe it could have been reported by an individual who made an offer on it and I rejected the offer and then they reported the item ? It doesn't contain any harmful substances that I'm aware of unlike the British gas masks, could someone possibly explain/ help me out with any reason, many thanks

Depending on how and what title and what was said in description it could have fallen foul of the offensive materials policy being German and from that era . Do not try to relist.

in addition some masks of that era had hazardous materials whether German British or other but eBay to play safe may not allow within the uk.

Nothing in my listing that was any different to others selling the same
thing on eBay I’ve reported other listing to see if they get removed and
none have so far …….

Perhaps more to the point, you listed in the UK, where are others listed? Ebay in other Countries may not be so fussy.
