I bought a vintage watch from a reputable seller in Mission TX. After finalizing the purchase I noted that No tracking details were posted on my purchase summary. After getting in touch with the seller he said this was strange that the postage details did not automatically show my tracking number; he added it in a msg and I managed to then find the item but then became rather confused with the tracking, that put it in Chicago, Zurich, Chicago, New York, Zurich (again) and then delivered Switzerland. I live in Cambridge England, and this was the delivery address.
I am in touch with the seller again, he says USPS appear to have a problem; and he shows me this time a USPS order form with my correct UK address printed out and the same USPS tracking number alongside it on the same proof of postage form.
I cannot launch an item did not arrive complaint until 17th/18th of this month, the maximum estimated delivery time. Because there are no tracking details on the purchase I cannot tell them that I have been told that this item has been delivered to a Switzerland address, because my tracking number was supplied via conversations on the messages page.
What can I do now, anything at all before the 17th of this month?
With no effective tracking number I cannot even know if it did arrive, as customs will be charged, and I have no way of being able to pay this without tracking. Help!
