Seller Issues with Repair

My Fold Goggle phone (had it 6 months only) just stopped working and cracked when i opened the fold screen.  The phone was cased and I did not drop it or damage it in anyway.  I sent it back to them to repair at a cost and they said they would send to their engineer who came back saying it had been dropped by me and had a scratch which showed it had been dropped.  This was  a refurb phone and now they refuse to repair - have said they can return to me as is at a cost of £30 or sell to them for £40.  I feel this is unacceptable and I have asked to see the report and photos with no response.  Any ideas what I can do - ebay seem only to respond as an automaton as over 30 days.  The phone has one year warranty. Thanks in advance.

It's too late to do anything via ebay, they don't get involved with warranties.    Contact your payment provider and see what they say.

Im afraid in this case Ebay are not able to help as its over the 30 days and the 1yr warranty is something you have taken out with the seller so you do not have any comebacks via Ebay.  You could contact your card issuer, Citizens advice. or Trading Standards.
