Hi all. I'm selling a few items at the moment with best offers in place. For whataver reason, I'm not reciveing mobile notifications when someone makes an offer (I've checked both the app and my phone, and everything is set the right way to receive notifications, but that's not the point here).
My point is that buyers have made me offers I'd be willing to accept, but I didn't know I'd received an offer so the time to accept has elapsed. This has happened twice now - very frustrating because the items are a bit niche and therefore don't have a huge amount of interest, so it could be ages before I can't receive another offer.
Worse still is thst those offers seem to be anonymous. Am I right in saying that there's no way that I'll be able to contact those people to belatedly accept their offers? And isn't that something of a flaw in ebay's system if so?
