I haven’t listed a buy it now price on my original listing and it has a day and a half to go, but someone is asking if I have a buy it now price, is this allowed or should I have set it up from the outset?

You have a bid, so can't revise listing.
You could tell buyer your reserve amount, they bid that, you end listing- sell to highest bidder.
You have a bid on the item, so no Buy it Now Price can be added, as it would not be fair to the bidder (s).
Invite this buyer to bid along with the others, as the sale has to go on in auction style only now.
