Faulty goods

So I bought boots through eBay and paid with Apple Pay the boots are less then 3 months old ,I contacted the seller who has gone into administration, the seller advised me to contact his supplier who said (Unfortunately, we’re unable to assist directly in this matter, as your contract of sale is with Britannia Safety, who no longer hold an account with us.
Regarding the item in question, we would not have accepted this as a manufacturing fault. The wear appears consistent with general use and friction against the breathable mesh material, which is further evidenced by corresponding signs of wear on the toe cap area.

We recommend discussing this further with Britannia Safety, as they remain your point of contact for this purchase.)

what do I do cheers Ken

Faulty goods

There's nothing you can do via eBay.

All you can do is what is recommended there, contact Britannia Safety. If no joy then you've lost your money. I would never pay with Apple Pay - had you funded that payment with a debit or credit card you could've issued a chargeback and got a refund.
