New to selling

I have recently sold something on eBay and it’s been collected when I’ve gone to collect my money. It says that it’s still to be collected. I tried everywhere on eBay to find some answers to this problem but you just seem to go around and round on eBay, it’s a nightmare trying to find out information For the answers that you require. is there anyway to contact Ebay by email and just ask him a direct question I’ve contacted the buyer but I’ve not heard back

You need to scan the code the buyer was given by eBay, have you done that?

No I didn’t. 
this is my first time selling for a long time didn’t know anything about this publish should’ve done my research

can the buyer just not inform Ebay that they’ve collected the item the payment is showing as pending waiting for collection

Ask the buyer to send you the code, otherwise you will have to wait for your money to be released, but it will be.
