Help with confirmation code QR

We bought an item and the seller wanted us to pay in cash rather than PayPal, which we did but he now is asking for a QR code or confirmation code. We cannot find one. Where do we find this to give to the seller. It is not in order details and we didn’t receive a confirmation email. Also I cannot get any answers from the automated eBay service. Any help appreciated

It's now against ebay's rules for sellers to ask for cash on collection.   You're supposed to pay through ebay first and then you receive the collection code.   The seller will have to just mark as paid and dispatched if those options are available.
