Cancelled an item minutes after buying,not getting refund

Bought an item,seconds later i noticed 'spares or repairs' later in the description,since i had no intention of buying a faulty item i instantly cancelled it within minutes once i figured out how.

8 or 9 days has gone buy and the seller said he never got around to cancelling the request and now he can't??But at my end it says he 'did' refuse my cancellation.What now??He hasn't sent item yet incidentally.

If they're not business sellers they are not obliged to accept "change of mind" cancellations.   If they don't cancel but don't send the item wait for the estimated delivery date on the listing to pass then select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:

and escalate it 3 complete working days later to get a full refund.
