Sold item and had to amend tracking information

Hi all

I sold an item but the prepaid postage value was not enough when I tried to post. I then paid extra for postage from my own money and shipped the item - I have proof from the carrier. The buyer has received the item but the updated tracking information does not reflect this. I therefore can’t be paid. Any ideas?

Have you changed the tracking number?   If not that's done via the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.    Has to be done on a desktop browser. 

But even if you can't you will get the money anyway in 14 days time.

Thanks for replying, I have changed the tracking number a few hours ago. Thanks for advising I will get paid in 14 days, better than not getting paid.
