Seller not paid yet - requested total amount but...

Hi 

Please can anyone advise? My item was sold last night but buyer not paid yet. I tried to send them payment details but get this message when I click on send payment details:

"Invoices cannot be sent for items where eBay manages all or part of the postage. These items are excluded from this invoice. "

I guess this is due to Simple Delivery . I've sent the buyer a message separately but I notice on my selling overview page it says in the Waiting for payment field:

Your item sold on Wed 2 Jul

The buyer has requested a total amount.

Who has the buyer asked for a total amount? Presumable waiting on eBay to tell the buyer what the total cost with their postage will be? Has anyone else had a delay like this?

It used to be so simple before Simple Delivery!

You can't send an invoice with Simple Delivery.   The buyer should have all the info they need from ebay to pay unless they're angling for different postage or have buyer's remorse.   if they don't pay issue a non-payment cancellation after 4 days.
