Seller cancelled and said that I requested cancellation.

Hi,

I would like to see the seller face the consequences for lying about the reason for cancelling the sale. After the purchase and a few days of waiting, the seller sent me a message that he had to cancel the order giving me some completely made-up reasons. I asked him several times not to do this. I suspect that the seller cancelled because the value of the product I had purchased had increased several times in the space of a few days. The seller cancelled the sale and cited my request for cancellation as the reason. I have tried to find some way of contacting ebay to resolve this matter, but I cannot get through. Who can I contact about this? Is there an email to which I can write?

Kind Regards

Seller cancelled and said that I requested cancellation.

There's no email for eBay,  and there's no way to force a seller to post out a paid for item,  but it's certainly worth contacting eBay Customer Services,  as this is very bad selling.  Citing, Buyer Requests to Cancel avoids the seller paying a seller fee and gaining a damaging strike on their account.  Contact is via a Call Back from eBay.

Contact CS, explain you did not sanction the cancellation and were very disappointed the sale was cancelled, they'll  place those penalties on the seller's account.  eBay do not  like disappointed buyers.

The easiest and quickest way to contact Customer Services is through this link, for a Call Back .

On weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Weekends lines open between 9 a.m. to 6p.m.
