A buyer requested I refund him due to an error on my original listing. He had already purchased the item. I refunded him as it was my mistake.
However on my page it is showing him as refunded which is fine but his payment for the item is showing as pending which means he has been refunded from my funds and not been refunded his actual purchase.
Am I right in thinking that this is just the system needing time to catch up and register his actual payment for goods or should I be concerned that I am out of pocket by several hundred pounds at this time.
My EBay balance is showing correct with sales from other items, but my available to withdraw amount is zero because of the refund being paid without showing payment for the item that was refunded.
hope that all makes sense.
obviously I tried looking through the chat bot but it was less than useless and it seems impossible to even request a call from eBay and no way to talk to a human!
anyone have similar issues with refunds?
