Help, what do I do if ...SD labels ?

Hi all,

I have a few questions about the new wonderful SD process I am hoping someone might have the answers:

1. What happens when I don't select the SD label and use my own label ? There are instructions to "void" the label within 14 days but the instructions do not work on my orders as the drop-down menu against the label does not show up.

2 Is there is a process to mark any unused labels or do I just wait 14 to 28 days and hope a refund comes through ?

3.  If I combine orders and send in one package, I can't add the tracking information to the orders on the system. If I select the specific orders and select add tracking the system sends me to the eBay "It's not you it's us" page.

4. If I can't add tracking information to an order it seems I will not get paid as the order will not get a delivery complete marker

Thank you

If you use your own label, and not the SD one when Custom postage is no longer available for you,  then as the buyer has paid for the SD label they will receive a refund around 30 days later.   I'm not sure if you can then change the tracking number yourself,  or if CS can do this for you.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

End of the day, if there is no tracking to show delivery,  the payout will be held for 14 days before release.

Thank you.

I am paying for the SD label as I offer free delivery, so I will automatically receive a refund after 30 days or so.

and

my payout will be held for 14 days and then released

ok, and if I use chat in the morning that will hopefully get Dublin as my phone reception is very patchy as I live too near to the mast, who knew.

Your sales should not be subject to mandatory Simple Delivery or the buyer protection fee as you are a business seller.

If you upgrade your account you will be able to choose your postage.
