Good evening I sold a watch to a buyer the battery was flat so I cancelled transaction
she wants a postage tag but can't because I cancelled transaction so she didn't get charged. So I have told her to send the watch back to me what ever the postage cost is I will refund back when I have watch
but she's not playing ball tried to contact eBay but you just end up with a virtual assistant
so how do I send a pre payment postage

You can't send a label via ebay after you've issued a refund. When you refund before the item has been returned ebay assume you don't want the item back. You're supposed to get the item back and then refund. You could try buying a label from Royal Mail or courier website and forwarding it to her email address but that's no guarantee she'll use it to return the item.

It's a slightly pricey solution, but you could send her a Royal mail Special Delivery pre-paid envelope. You can buy them from the Post Office and could just send it in an envelope. As long as she wraps the watch up, she will just need to put it in the pre-paid envelope and hand it over at the P.O. counter.
