Listing problem. Buyer pays postage converts to Seller pays on listing.

Unable to list items for sale. Listing created for Buyer to pay for delivery changes to seller to pay (free delivery)! on listing.  A member of my family has the same problem. EBay agent telephone call did nothing to help. I have 12 years listing experience and know the procedure well. Is there a current software problem?

Sounds like you may be opted into Simple Delivery?

You can currently opt out,  but be aware,   this is  to change very soon,  when Simple Delivery will become mandatory for all Private sellers from the 15th April.

Simple Delivery is not compulsory..... yet,  so you can opt out if you wish.  I believe you'll need a laptop / PC and use Chrome for this, maybe  not the app or mobile browser.

When creating a new listing here's how to opt out:

Click on Collection then straight away back to and click on Postage Only, and the Custom option shows,  you are then able to select the postage service and cost you wish to use.

Or,  if there is a switch link,  click on ' Switch to Advanced Options' at the bottom of the postage section,  and once again when a pop up appears.

This link explains eBay's Simple Delivery.
