Customer messaged me after paying for item asking me to ship by Royal mail. When i clicked get shipping label it only gave me option of Evri so i told the buyer that.
She said change or she will take action against me with eBay.
Just wondering can you change the carrier. In this case i have cancelled the sale as I dont want to deal with this person.

I don't blame you. You can make sure RM is included as an option in your postage preferences.

If both options are selected how to you choose when getting your postage label? That's the bit I a missing I think. It doesn't seem to give me the option. Both Evri and Royal Mail appear to have a green next to them when i check

If both options are selected eBay selects the carrier it's not a choice the seller can make, generally the standard tracked service would be Evri and the Express service Royal Mail though not always depends on item type ansd size buyer location etc but is all decided by eBay.
You did nothing wrong

Just for the record, a buyer cannot take any action against a seller for complying with the terms of the ad.
Buyer could open a not received case to get a refund.
You say you cancelled the sale, what reason did you use, as cancelling without buyers agreement will give you a defect, and buyer can still leave feedback.
