Selling Pokemon Cards

This month I have received over a dozen offers on a single card from different buyers each time. When I initially responded with a counter offer, there was never any response from the buyer and eventually I just ignored the offers believing them to be fake. How do I report this to eBay?

So far two of my son's cards have sold. The first buyer claimed the card never arrived. Thankfully, Ebay sorted it out. Then we had all these fake offers and I just received a message from our second buyer asking for a partial refund because he claims the card was creased. It definitely wasn't!

Ready to give up selling cards on Ebay if all the buyers are dishonest!

How can I protect myself from this sort of claim?

You can't report buyers for making offers.

There are a few, very limited, specific reasons for reporting buyers and 'making offers but not responding to a counter-offer' is not one.

You could list the items without the 'make an offer' option.

Just list them for the price you want.

You can't avoid buyers claiming undelivered, unless you send everything tracked or 'signed for' - these claims do seem to be frequent from buyers of all sorts of cards.

You don't know that the card didn't arrive creased and dealing with 'not as described' claims is a part of selling on this site.
