You will be responsible if item gets damaged in transit,
Most carriers won't accept glass or insure it.
Politely reply to buyer and say it is collection only.

Mirror listed as collection, asked to post?
Not insurable if breaks ? ( not sure that Simple Delivery could cover this cost).
Tell this buyer it's a collection item ONLY, and end of discussions with them !

Adding to the previous replies, cancel the sale with the reason: Problem with buyer's address. Buyer will receive a refund and you can relist. Add their ID to your blocked bidders list.
This will not impact your account in any way.

In fairness, coming from a new buyer this doesn't scream dodgy at all.
In a private sale, the seller and buyer can agree whether an insured service is used. If the buyer chooses to take the risk, and understands that the seller will not be liable to refund for breakage, this is their decision.
When I first became an eBay used over 20 years ago this is how eBay then worked. If buyer wanted insurance, they could choose to pay extra for it. No payment meant no compensation for loss or damage in transit.
Today, eBay makes the seller responsible for refunding for loss or damage, whether or not it was sent insured. It's up to the seller what delivery service they use;
This, of course, has changed somewhat (in fact, considerably!) since the introduction of eBay's anything but simple "simple delivery".
